I started this vlog with a relaxed packaging montage for all the ASMR girlies 🥰.

Pen Packaging Day

Wrapped up a hectic day getting the first batch of black glitter Buenas Vibras Pen Sets ready—talking quality checks and all that jazz. I'm still waiting on the white pens, expected by month's end, but I got a jump on the black ones first. Thankfully, the vendor was super helpful and sent over some snapshots of the white pen samples for my thumbs up before rolling them out. Appreciated that!

Started the morning by popping the black pens into their display bags and clipping on header cards with our old logo. I'm all about using up what we've got before we fully switch to our new branding—no waste here!

Decided to hold off on releasing the black pens until the white ones arrive, so you can snag both at once without worrying about the black ones running out.

Updating Branding Materials

Realized mid-packaging that we were low on header cards. With 500 more pen sets incoming, it was the perfect chance to refresh these cards with our new logo. Got those new designs ordered and they should be here in a few weeks.

Soft Launch

After some thought, I decided to quietly roll out the black pens on our site. Opted to skip the big social media reveal until the white pens are in stock, too. Not expecting them to fly off the shelves just yet, as these vlogs don’t pull massive crowds.

Job Interviews and Career Reflections

In between, I squeezed in some job interviews. Started with a phone screening—definitely my preferred way to interview these days. Turned down one company right after our call. Then, I had two face-to-face interviews with another company; they offered me a position, but the pay just wasn’t enough, and there was zero flexibility. Passed on that.

Had another interview that felt straight out of that show Severance—super sterile office vibe, which was a no-go for me. These interviews really helped me pinpoint what I'm after in my career and reminded me of my value in the job market.

Office Redecorating Postponed

Planned to spruce up the office, but this heat wave said otherwise, so I’m pushing that project to later in the year.

Upcoming Market Prep

I’m gearing up for my first outdoor market this Saturday. It’s a whole new ball game with a 10x10 space under a canopy—way different from my usual setups. Planning to do a trial run of the display to make sure everything is good to go.
